Halloween is a fun time to go out, meet the neighbors, look at fun Halloween decorations, and also Trick or Treat! Keep your Trick or Treater's safe this Halloween.
Use NON-TOXIC makeup on your child instead of a mask to ensure their vision is not limited. Facepaint is a bit more time-consuming, but it's a lot more unique and a lot more safe! Masks are made to look cool, not be safe. Make sure your Trick or Treater's are able to see well during Halloween. There are plenty of cars and people running around that day!
Make sure your children’s costumes are properly sized to avoid falls and tripping. When running around the neighborhood on Halloween, it's easy to trip and fall. Ensure that your kids have properly sized clothing, and be careful when Trick or Treating in flowy-style costumes. A princess dress could easily get caught or stepped on!
Have children wear reflective markings or carry a flashlight so they can be seen. In a busy neighborhood, you don't EVER want to lose sight of your children. Make sure they have some type of lighting with them. There are plenty of fun options such as light up bracelets, necklaces, or even faux glasses!
Always accompany your young children when they are out trick-or-treating. This is the most important tip of all!
